ClosingCheckList

1) Holes on your picket fences

2) Check leaks on roof after a rainy day with a flashlight
Especially, check the pipe tower from the A/C unit to the roof.

3) Get the lawn and backyard magnetic rolled to remove nails and metallic objects

4) Call the irrigation guys and setup an appointment for programming your sprilnkler system.
Check number on the box of sprinkler system (located in your garage mostly)

5) Run all pipes and check for leaks under the sink

6) Fill all tubs with water for more than an hour and check for leaks

7) Get your roof inspected with an inspector -- one place you cannot reach :)

8) Check all light switches and outlets working

9) Outside flashing should be complete to avoid water seepage

10) Run your A/C and check temperature changes, reduce and increase and check
for temperature change.

11) Check level on A/C units in the attic

12)  Check for loose rods on your staircase

13) Proper draining of water in all shower baths and tubs

14) Windows clean both internal and external

15) Fireplaace working

16) Cracks on corners of walls (use a flashlight - sheet rock problem)

17) Padding under carpets

18) Student desk (or) any custom desk, please check for holes on the rear to run wires and
grommets.

19) Seal the garage door for any gaps (on seeing light coming through), keeps the rodents away.

20) Circular stairs, check properly caulked and no pieces missing near the base of the staircase

21) Granite cracks

22) Unfinished cabinets in kitchen and bathrooms

23) Improperly closing wall cabinets in your closets

24) Check water meter is not running over when all pipes are closed at home

25) New filters installed in A/C units on time of closing
